Your Objectives...The Brief
DMA considers that your objectives are the starting point.
We usually don't like to move too far down the track of any project until we understand those objectives and hopefully they are clearly expressed in a brief which in turn becomes our contract to you, our client.
This usually happens in either of 2 ways
- Many clients have done it all before and have a clear brief developed
- You may have some ideas about what you want and the outcomes etc. but need to discuss options, prices, venues etc in more detail.
Usually, the latter applies.
In many ways, this is often the best way to go, we can sit with you and your team and really discuss your expectations and objectives and come back to you with a draft brief and often a preliminary budget if appropriate.
No matter what, the brief is a critical document which lays the foundation for a successful event, and clearly establishes responsibilities, finance and a myriad of other ojectives.
